Seriously...I wouldn't be opposed one bit to the Chiefs using Charles more like the Saints use Bush...except with more carries of course...but shit...no reason why TJ and JC can't be in the game at the same time...even McCluster, too.

So many options with these dynamic playmakers...
I love the draw play where we have Jones as the HB, Charles and McCluster in the slot and they begin the play as if it's a bubble screen, then Jones has a huge hole up the middle of the field. That play is MONEY.

we don't seem to be good enough to get the ball to Bowe/Chambers anyways...so why not feature Charles/McCluster/TJ on the field more often...

But like I said...

all the options...we're turning into a "pick your poison" nightmare for opposing DCs...

and Boss...

I was just starting to gain respect for you and now you think KC is going to go into Indy and win?

Wow...

I just...wow...can't fathom that level of homerism.

That's KnowMo esque.

I think we got a good chance of winning. We are playing good football rain or nice weather. The only thing that may hold us back, of course is Cassel. That & not sure how much Peytons going to pick on Carr cuz he would be foolish to throw to Flowers much. Our team is still capable of winning this game. This is not homerism, I have my doupts as well but we have the play makers and the right play calling system on both sides of the ball (dicapline on defense). This is not a shoe win for the Colts. Houston showed that the Colts are not indestructable.

seriously...

comparing a 2007 Herm led Chiefs game @ Indy to a 2010 Chiefs game @ Indy is one of the dumbest comparisons I've ever heard.

Eh, the expectation this year is to keep improving, and they've almost matched last year's win total. It would be cool if they made it to the playoffs, but it doesn't really matter. It would be cool if they could go 1-1 in the next two, but it doesn't really matter (unless they get completely destroyed in both, which would suck).

Why not have some hope? They're the underdog, and I'd think even those who think it's a toss-up know that... there shouldn't be any expectations going into this game, so sit back, smile and nod at those who say there's no chance, and if they lose.... oh well.

But, if they win...

I may have been the only realist on the board that predicted us to go 10-6 in our season prediction thread...after predicting 4-12 last year and only missing the previous year by one game while predicting 3-13 (albeit on another board cause I wasn't here quite yet).

I think we beat Indy, but lose the following week to Houston.

Thats how I see it, I think we match up quite well and have a real good chance at beating them with Romeo getting two weeks to prepare for PM and Charlie getting two weeks to plan how to attack them in a way that lets us succeed. I think When they sell out to stop our running game, Moeaki and DMC win their matchups and Cassel does enough not to lose the game for us.....which will open up the running game and allow us to keep their defense honest.

Ill be pissed if you dont choose my sig or avatar if you do win, though. That would be a slap in the face.

We actually have a damn good chance to beat the Colts. We're gonna run it right up their ass. All we need is a few stops, and there's not a DC in the game who has owned Peyton like Romeo has.
Hootie's a P Manning ball washer. Not that Peyton doesn't deserve it, but it's not as impossible as he's making it out to be.

And No Hootie, no one on this board is going to freak out if we lose on the road to the Colts. Pretty much everyone is expecting us to.
