I figured that since we're in a bye, sitting at 3-0, I figured it wouldn't hurt to think about what is the possibility of how many wins the Chiefs can obtain within the next 4 games on the schedule.

Of the next 4 games on the schedule, how many wins do you think the Chiefs can obtain, and against who, and why?

Houston can burn us. Arian Foster has been great. Schaub and Co. are as beastly as ever, and their D is good against the run so far, although this could just be because their passing defense is atrocious. Cassel's going to have to make a few plays if we're going to win this one.

The Chiefs are among the league leaders in rushing defense and Foster has been stiffeld somewhat since his week one breakout (against, you guessed it, the Colts).

Schaub and company have been successful through the air but I like the way the Chiefs secondary matches up against the Texans receivers.

The Chiefs may not win in Texas but it should be a close game.

Well, we'll have to disagree for now. Buffalo isn't as bad as you think. They'll get some wins this year, but KC should be a contender regardless of a slipup loss to a weaker team. I wasn't expecting playoffs but with a headstart at 3-0 anything is possible.

The Chiefs should absolutely beat Buffalo, regardless of whether or not they may win a couple of games.

If the Chiefs are to take the next step, they need to beat teams they're supposed to beat.

Personally, I have a hard time believing that Crennel and Weis are going to lose to a Buffalo team or any inferior team.

This isn't the bumbling, stumbling coaching staff of 2001-2009 that loses to bad teams. These guys are too smart for that nonsense, as evidence by their halftime adjustments.

He's 6-0 when he was with the Patriots. They played Indy 2 times in 01.


And I don't think people are counting his days with the Browns.

I'll agree with this, but I don't think they're good enough to beat us at Arrowhead, especially if we drop either one of the road games.

If Hali can do what he did in the 9ers game, we'll win. Peyton has pocket presence to step up, but he's not mobile at all and won't be able to totally avoid Hali.

I said 5-2 a couple of week ago and that's probably still a fair assessment.

But, I wouldn't be surprised to see them split on the road. It all comes down to game planning and IMO, we have the best coordinators in the league.

Peyton rarely takes sacks and Hali won't be facing a rookie from Rutgers.

Bottom Line: Don't count on it.

Almost nothing really surprises me anymore... winning the next 4 would, and losing all 4 would. It's not hard for me to see them losing to Buffalo or Jacksonville... those teams are a mess like Dane said, but even elite teams lose games they should win every once in a while, much less the Chiefs. A turnover or two, a big return, and you have an upset... hell, that's how the Chiefs won one game.
