Seattle (or Redmond=MS) is dead end. It's great if you want that on your resume but most likely, you could do that remotely. They pay like the entertainment industry, which is low because "everyone" wants to work for them.

Austin was booming at one time but that's died down quite a bit. San Fran is still the place to be if you want to scale the mountain and be the king.
