The Great Rep Heist

In case anyone cares about the nuts and bolts...

* Everyone has been reset to 10.
* The formula to calculate rep has been altered dramatically (rep power is a lot lower than it used to be).
* Rep power is capped at 50 (no matter what the front page says).
* All of the "rep levels" have been lowered quite a bit and based on an exponential scale. It'll take forever to anyone to max out.

The little green bars will still probably fill up pretty quickly, but there's not much to be done about that. Plus, I don't really like them being THAT big of a deal.



Basically, I'm tired of hearing about it, and the multiplier based on current rep had caused the whole thing to get out of hand in terms of exponential growth. Plus, it's (essentially) the offseason, and I knew this thread would be entertaining.

I absolutely love it! You are a genius. Lucky for you though, you didn't wipe out the old rep comments, I would of had to hunt you down for that one.

For real? I mean, people spend the time (and, IMHO, are willing to absolutely humiliate themselves) by sending you PMs or whatever saying anything at all about rep?



I personally get much more enjoyment out of the little comments that people leave than any point system.
