I have a sneaking suspicion that EA will do the same...just a hunch!

EA has already tried doing that with other games and failed.

You didn't hear about their new "premium content" model that's making its debut with MW3?

Oh they will, but you'll be able to buy the faster resupply version for only $5.

how will that premium content model affect the game? Are they talking about paying extra for better weapons/classes/load-outs etc?

Of course not, but you're still going to be buying the cheap features to keep up with everyone else. And if you won't, then more power to you.

That would end the franchise. I think they are going to make it a bitch to unlock stuff points wise. But you can spend money to unlock it.
Prorbably will have money perks also or something that gives a slight edge. It will have to cheap enough and good enough for people to say **** it and buy it. |

If i'm buying a game, i don't want to continue paying for the damn thing after i buy it. So i won't buy the extras. Simple as that. I'm sure there's a good amount of people that won't buy the thing at all now. |
