Anyone impressed with Luck's top target, Chris Owusu? He is showing up in a lot of the Stanford games I've been watching.

And if they don't draft a QB at all this year, that entertainment you speak of will likely translate into another decade and a half of misery and torture. Maybe fans are numb. If your team goes this long without a playoff win, what's another decade or two? What's another franchise QB out the window? |

I think that would be the worst scenario out there, the Colts getting Luck. Just how many time can they get the #1 slot? Elway, George, Manning and perhaps now Luck? Most of the other teams in contention have at least drafted a QB recently. Vikings, Vikes, Jags, and Rams. We haven't drafted a QB high since Mike Elkins and I don't think he even got on the field for more than a cup of coffee.

Upon quick glance I thought the thread title was "Andrew Luck is worthless trouble." Was about to get the popcorn out.

With the colts, I could see them draft him if they had the pick. However, would they want to invest that much money in quaterbacks when they have issues elsewhere? I mean manning just signed on for big bucks this past offseason. Signing Luck would mean they have some srs money invested on their qbs. And Manning could go on for another 3-5 years (if he pulls a farve, even longer)
I could also see piolis stupid ass giving up the first pick if it meant conditional picks in this years and next years draft. If we are lucky enough to be in a position to draft luck, we better damn well pull the trigger! |

ESPN Bill Wiiliamson: (2:28 PM) If the Chiefs lose the next two games (against winless Minnesota and Indy) watch out. It could be their very unlucky season could end up Luck (y).
You guys have taken the wind out of your rival fan's sails. We just cannot enjoy Chief suckage if you root for them to lose. During the offseason we were all like "HA HA! Lookit that really tough stretch on the Chief's schedule!" And now the ChiefsFans are the ones saying "HA HA! Lookit that really tough stretch on our schedule!" Recently, even the pundits have joined in. Its just not fair... |

Andrew Luck will be cheap in terms of cap room because he won't need a center. He'll just snap the ball to himself.

Q: Why is Andrew Luck considered a pocket passer?
A: Because Andrew Luck runs from no man.
