Actually our rushing attack isn't that bad. I honestly think part of the sacks is because Brady has been holding the ball unusually long. Playing some very good defenses hasn't helped any either.

Waters has been very, very good for us, solidifying a bad spot. Losing our starting center and having our starting RT out for most of the year hasn't helped any, however.

Lilja is irrelevant. He's only taking over the left side because he's more comfortable there. Asamoah can play either spot, and that's why he's plugged in at right.

Ditching Waters when we had the chance was absolutely the right move.

Waters is and was better than Lilja. KC's ground game is weak sauce this year. The guy got an undeserved bad rap in KC especially among Planeteers.

That's a good point. And like I said, 14 sacks is the league average. That's not terrible pass protection at all.

I don't think this is a very good thread, that's all. I'm deathly afraid of Tom Brady, Aaron Hernandez, and Rob Gronkowski when we play the Patriots this year. Brian Waters I couldn't give a **** about.

Wtf? We lost Jamaal Charles and had to start Jackie Battle and Thomas Jones. I think that had more to do with us going down a few spots rushing than losing Waters did.

Not sure how he's irrelevant. The move affected two spots.
I'm more than happy with how Asamoah's been playing, I agree that at some point you have to move on from aging players (even those who are still playing at a high level), but to suggest there has been no downside to the move...is to be dishonest.

Don't have any numbers in front of me, but I'd venture to guess he's been our 2nd-biggest liability in pass protection this season.
