And when Cassel had time, his passes were off the mark.

When the Dolphins blitzed, he never went to a hot read.

When he checked out of a play, he checked to a run that was stuffed.

If the defense was a book, Cassel was trying to read War and Peace when he hasn't advanced beyond Dick and Jane.

Our defense was putrid today, but I still blame the offense. They sucked AGAIN. The difference is, our defense has shown up this season in a few games. The offense still hasn't. If we don't address the quarterback and offensive line this offseason, we aren't trying to win. Period.

I'm not going to argue with you again old man. You have your mind made up. Cassel was NOT the problem today. It was a complete epic fail on the whole team. The offensive line got abused today. Dude has heart and he competes. He's not aaron rodgers or tom brady, but he wants to win. Every QB in this league has happy feet when you get in their face. Reference Tom Brady today. We won't ever win a super bowl with Matt Cassel, but he is serviceable.

Why doesn't anyone bring up the defense today? They got pushed around. Brandon flowers is so overrated it's not even funny. He is a prima donna.

We got outplayed by an 0-7 fb team.

I'm wondering if we got exposed today. The Dolphins sent a lot of blitzes and we looked woefully unprepared.

I'm betting other teams watch this film and blitz the crap out of Cassel.

FYP

Cassel cowards when he sees a blitz coming. "Abort...abort..abort...", he frantically yells as he scrambles and gets sacked for a 8 yard loss.

Maybe this is a good thing. It shows we have a weak minded QB leading this team who has no confidence in himself...

I saw Cassel miss wide open receivers downfield, miss open receivers by 5 yards. All day. Again. Yeah the protection sucked today, but if the conditions have to be perfect for him to lead our offense to more than 3 points, then **** him. Our defense was awful as well, but if a team scores 28 points on us, we literally have a 0% chance of winning with this turd at the helm.

Also, Brandon Flowers is a great CB. Our pass rush is complete and utter dog shit. Hali is great but he isn't gonna get 2 or 3 sacks every game.

Well, on the other hand, we should be looking for it. May turn out to be a good thing.

If Cassel hasn't figured out how to deal with blitzes at this point, he ain't gonna.

The problem for me is that Crennel didn't have any kind of plan.

He believes in bend but don't break, and he had both starters at safety out today.

Give any QB in the league all day in the pocket against and he's going to pick you apart, especially with guys like Donald Washington and Sabby Picitelly in at safety.

Bend but don't break is a great way to wear down your own defense in today's NFL, and an even better way to expose your weak safeties.

I guarantee you, I would go out on the field and play with heart, but I still have no business on the field.

I could for one play until a 250 lb linebacker made a routine tackle on me.

It would be an instant "**** This" moment.

For the people defending Cassel because of the o-line problems, did you guys watch Rodgers vs the Chargers? His o-line wasn't very good either. How many times was Rodgers sacked? But he still owned like he always does, despite the o-line. 90% of the time you just can't depend on Cassel.
