Kind of excited for the Packers game.

If nothing else to see exactly what our secondary is worth. The Pack doesn't run the ball so I expect Crennel to drop 8 all game and allow Starks or Grant to put up around 100 yards rushing.

Will be interesting to see what Rodgers does to us, though. Our corners match up extremely well with their receivers, with the exception of Jermichael Finley due to us not having a safety athletic enough to keep up with him with Berry injured.

I imagine Crennel could employ the same system he used against Manning last year in Indianapolis. Stick a corner on the receiver that best matches his abilities

Brandon Flowers: Greg Jennings
Brandon Carr: Jordy Nelson
Javier Arenas: James Jones
Travis Daniels: Donald Driver
Jon McGraw: Jermichael Finley (McGraw did shut down Dallas Clark last year...)

Could be fun, I think Donald Washington's blazing speed could be a great fit for containing Randall Cobb.

It's amazing how people overrate this team.

We're not playing Caleb Hanie, Curtis Painter, Kyle Boller or Donovan McNabb's corpse.

Sheesh.

I'm just going to turn on the Chiefs/Packers game in 03, that will surely make me feel better.

It was amazing after they had just won 4 in a row over 3 shitty teams and the Chargers (who were not yet deemed shitty), given we went through the same thing last year before we got the reality check in the playoffs.

Now... it's just pathetic.

We could kidnap Rodgers and take him to a secluded site and take turns screaming "Hey Rodgers, discount doublecheck" over and over and over for 3 days, then let him go when he has barely enough time to catch the flight.

I don't know Mr. Fax, this is one of those games where the Chiefs reerun strength comes out to play for some odd reason.

I'm excited for this game, but I'm also sad.

Will be my first Chiefs game missed in many years. I'll have to DVR it and watch after I get home.

This is a dagger in the heart for me. I can not stand having to watch the game after it's happened.

It's Tyler Palko.

You'll survive.

Yeah I know. All I'll miss is the Chiefs getting the shit beat out of them, but I just can't stand missing games or having to watch them late. Not my Chiefs anyways. Luckily it will more than likely not be a good game, so yes, I will survive.

I'm good with that, Mr. Otter.

In fact, this was one of my surprise upset games of the year way back when before the season started.

Our Chiefs occasionally find a way to defeat teams we have no business beating. This is a trap game for the Packers, anyhow. They'll overlook us, no matter what they say beforehand.

Besides, they may have their deal locked up by then and, if so, may not even start their starters ... which ... actually ... would make it kinda fair since we're not starting our starters either.

There are rumors that Palko might be able to engineer a single TD drive.
