Wallets

For nearly 20 years, I carried a Coach wallet. It finally bit the dust 3 or 4 years ago. I've been through 5 or 6 $25-40 wallets since.

Surely there is another maker of men's wallets who puts a couple of leather scraps together well and doesn't charge $150. I mean, I'll spend the money if I have to. Obviously, I'll spend 10x that over the next 20 years $25 at a time but does anybody know of a comparable product.

I have a front pocket wallet from Cabela's. I hate giant ass wallets under my ass all the time. Plus I don't keep anything in it but a bit o cash and a couple cards.

Cabela's has several different wallets. They're private label, so they aren't designer prices. Check this Link.

If you haven't tried a front pocket wallet, I would recommend it.

EDIT: They have some buffalo skin wallets that are tougher, if you think you must.

Big skinny wallets. Love how small they get and can still hold a ton.

I have a Tyvek wallet from this place, http://www.dynomighty.com/, and like it. Mine is the second one in the second column, the one that looks like an airmail envelope. They've got a zillion different designs, which are a lot of fun.

It doesn't have a lot of pockets and stuff, but it's pretty light and thin and is more interesting than a plain brown wallet.

I've got a Dickies leather wallet that's about 10 years old. Looks worn but not falling apart.

To be honest, I stopped carrying a wallet about a year ago. I carry a money clip made out of a 1922 silver dollar. All I carry with me are my license, an ATM card, a credit card and my CCW.

i have a wallet, but i never carry it. keep it in my truck, or the wifes car when we travel.

had it since i was a teenager i guess. the clear plastic photo-sheets are yellow and rotted. there's about 15-20 "i voted" stickers on the outside. drivers lic., couple ccards and insurance card is all that's in it.

it pulls at the hair on my ass, so i don't like it. carry some cash in right front pocket. left front pocket is for my knife and keys.

sec

I purchased a sweet moose leather wallet from Bass Pro about 6 months ago. Its holding up great so far. It even comes in a nice metal tin.

Same here. I used to carry a big fat wallet in my back pocket for years. My wife bought me one of these when we first got married and I've never looked back.

There's no way in hell I could carry a wallet in my back pocket again.

I'd agree with that.

Mine has the following
Debit Card
Credit Card
2 bills
Insurance Card
Sam's Card

And I am rarely left wanting. Occasionally I would like to keep business cards in there, and there is room, but they get all freaking dirty and look like hell so I can't justify it.

I've never owned a wallet that I didn't have to replace after a few years...
I'm currently using a Fossil Carson ID wallet that I've had for a little over a year now.

Go with a nice leather front pocket wallet. I have a Tommy Hilfigure one and it's lasted quite nicely. Get one with a metal money clip that has hinges.
