Wallets

For nearly 20 years, I carried a Coach wallet. It finally bit the dust 3 or 4 years ago. I've been through 5 or 6 $25-40 wallets since.

Surely there is another maker of men's wallets who puts a couple of leather scraps together well and doesn't charge $150. I mean, I'll spend the money if I have to. Obviously, I'll spend 10x that over the next 20 years $25 at a time but does anybody know of a comparable product.

I have no idea when I bought mine... maybe as far back as high school in the mid-late 90s. It's cheap, nothing special... still works.

You must carry a lot of money Phil, if you didn't spend so much on wallets, you might get that Chevelle.

Somebody, can't remember if it was the Mrs. or daughter got me one of these Fossils from Dillards for Christmas. Not sure if they were trying to insinuate something. Very well made, and mine must have been a discontinued model, cause I don't see the big thing I got in their product line.

I didn't spend it. A girlfriend did. But I figure I can continue spending $25 a year for the next 20 years or spend $150 today and have a wallet worth $500. Same concept for quality tools. I know I'm speaking your language now.

I hear ya, I spent $80 on a wallet once, it was the most expensive one I had ever seen, and it had golf clubs on it.

I always end up with some off the wall wallet. I picked up a Crocodile wallet a few months ago and it seems to wear like iron.

I've been meaning to pick one of those up, so I just bought two. (That's a good deal) I'll ship one over to my brother. Those things are great on vacations to an island, when you don't want to lug around a monster wallet.

Is Genuine Leather a brand? That's what it says on mine and I've had it for about 6 years I think. It's worn, but def. not falling apart. I have no idea where I got it.

I picked up a wallet made of canvas instead of leather. It has held up amazingly for 4 years now.
