People just think that franchise quarterbacks fall from the sky. They don't. And we aren't going to get one in this draft unless it's a lucky shot in the dark. The price for Luck and Griffin is going to be enormous. And for guys that have never played in the league, giving up an entire draft plus doesn't make a lot of sense. (It's going to take a Ricky Williams level deal to get one of those guys. Remember how much Atlanta paid to go get Julio Jones thinking that was the one missing piece to their puzzle?)

People seem to forget that Rogers sat for several seasons before he started. During that time, Green Bay did a really nice job in building the team and when Rogers got his chance, they had put the necessary pieces in place to have a really good club.

The Chiefs are close. They've got some really nice skill position players (contingent on Moeaki, Berry and Charles returning to form) and need a few more pieces in the trenches and one good quarterback.

I actually like Stanzi and hope he gets the chance here in KC. We get a right tackle and a center, it might give a guy like Stanzi a shot to be something legit.
