Maybe its just me....but isn't it a bit insulting that Kansas City isn't getting any more coverage on being a landing spot for Peyton?

To me, it's either Miami or Kansas City. Everywhere else has a square peg trying to fit into Peyton's round hole.

There is a perception around the league that KC isn't committed to winning, whether that's true or not is debatable, but that perception exists and is likely a reason why the media just doesn't believe KC would make a move like this.

I think the Jets is a great fit. Excellent defense which he has to be craving, good Oline and solid running back with S.Greene but other nice synergies in that Tom Moore is there as a "offensive consultant" and it fits well for family with his brother being in NYC. Jets would be the favorite to win the Super Bowl assuming he is really healthy.

That team is dysfuntional and play the Pats twice each year. Manning would have a tough time winning anything there.

He would relish getting to play the Pats twice a year while having a good defense that didn't require him to have to put up 30+ points every game to have a chance to win like he always had to do with the Colts. As for that team being dysfunctional, keep in mind he will be leading that entire team from day one. He will command respect and will receive it from everyone.

I think the Jets and Chiefs are the two spots that make the most sense for him. Hope it is the Chiefs but Jets make a ton of sense.

Jets don't have the monies.

I don't see why people think the Jets are such a great place for Manning. Their locker room is a total mess. They have a couple of head cases over there. I doubt he would want to have to deal with this type of stuff. He would also be losing to or taking sponsorship away from his brother.
