When Routt was a #2 CB and played in a press coverage scheme the only CB in the NFL ranked higher than him was Revis... Routt wasn't good last year as a #1 CB in a zone coverage defense... but he was still ranked #19 while Carr was ranked #21... I'm willing to bet he does just fine here as a #2 CB in press coverage again.

Routt is three years older, there is a huge difference between a 25 year old and a 28 year old cornerback.
