Why not? it was their scrubs against our scrubbiest of all scrubs. Their defensive scrubs were good enough to hold down even our first team O. Stanzi came in, showed some real spunk, and basically willed the ball down the field. It wasn't enough to "crown his ass" but it showed us that he's not chicken shit. All I'm talking about is Stanzi's potential here. He hasn't done anything to show that he has none, but instead shown that he's got some balls and can score when he's outmanned. It remains to be seen if he's good enough to be a starter, but if his full potential is realized, he would be better than Cassel.

What does Stanzi NOT give us that is required from a teams quarterback to win a superbowl? This is assuming he develops like he did over the course of his college career as a pro.

RIGHT NOW he has

Quicker release
more accurate
more mobile
stronger arm
ability to go through reads
much better mechanics

That's just a few points that Stanzi has shown better skill than that of Cassel during the time we got to see him in games.
