If Cassel plays well, that proves nothing. He still sucks and the only downside is he'll be there another 3 years. And many of you will die without seeing the Chiefs win another SB.

if Cassel plays all 16 games in 2012 an 8-8 record will be a good season for him.

I refuse to believe that. That (perhaps unfounded) faith that the coaches will flush Cassel down the toilet for good after this year is the only thing I have that keeps me going as a fan. I'm not giving up on that just yet.
