One thing Quinn brings is more experience. Unlike Cassel, Quinn started for his College team, he was a high draft pick because he was a good player coming out of College. Cassel has always been a career backup...
I don't suspect that we will in fact be even marginally improved with Quinn though. He is a project QB at this point in his career. He does have better physical attributes than Cassel. He has more zip to his passes, better pocket awareness, etc. In the end, like Cassel, he will help the chiefs in the only area that matters now; the draft.
