I've read that as well. I also saw people on NFL AM compare him to Chad Pennington.

Either way, it's unlikely you're getting a Franchise QB with Barkley, let alone a Super Bowl winner.

Stranger things have happened but that shoulder injury really dampened his future.

Barkley is a worse version of Mark Sanchez, and a slightly better version of John David Booty.

And on topic, of course the chiefs are saying they have 8 guys in mind. THey need to keep all options open, with option number one for them being to trade down, and get more picks.

homers gonna home. I guess when I talk about a player, i talk about their on the field play. He sucked horribly this year. even before being hurt. And thats saying something considering his receives. Like i said. Hes a slightly worse version of mark sanchez. Truth hurts. YOu guys so badly want a franchise qb that you are propping up these average at best qbs like geno smith and matt barkley. Its cool, i get it. i like a mediocre qb, so i would know.

Barkley has more leadership skills and far more experience, but he's lacking an NFL arm and the shoulder injury isn't likely to improve it.

As I mentioned earlier, I've seen people compare Barkley to Chad Pennington, which is great, if you want Chad Pennington as your quarterback.
