I like this move as a back up QB. People can hate on Chase all they want but he was a winner and a gamer at Mizzou. He rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but I like a QB to be a bit cocky. He can sling the ball pretty well and has been learning from Brees which is not a bad thing.

Yeah well he's not in college anymore. Nobody gives a **** what he "once did" in college. Who cares if he was backup for Brees, what happen to Flynn? JFC you're not a true fan

In isolation, I could not care less that we've signed Daniel. The problem is that this damn near confirms what we're going to do at the top of the draft and goes a long way to damaging our ability to trade out of the pick with a shit show like Buffalo.

I think it has been a foregone conclusion what we were going to do with the top pick once we traded for Smith. Not many teams are going to draft QB as the first guy overall and sit him while he learns the ropes. I still think one of these teams is going to get desperate still and will make a move with us regardless.
