Bottom line is he did get burned quite a bit, but was definately worth signing given the talent. He had a damn good start last year it seems, but fell off for some reason.

I just want to point out that in 3/4 of those gifs he is covering a #1 receiver.

Jackson
Wayne

In KC, he isn't covering those guys.

(I know this was what I hoped would help Routt last year.)

I'm cautiously optimistic...apparently so are the Chiefs with only giving him 7.4 million guaranteed and waited a few days to sign him.

If the coaching staff can find a way to straighten the kid out and polish his technique, he will prove to be a steal with that contract.

The corners job down there is to protect the corner...the LB should have been in position to stop that play, but he didn't get proper depth in his drop.

Look at Smith taking outside position on the play and the LB has poor depth and doesn't cover anything and gave up the goal line. With Andrew Luck or any other QB that prepares effectively against their opponents, thats like taking candy from a baby.

Classic example of what I was talking about earlier.
