Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said the team has talked with a few teams about the possibility of trading the first overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Reid said the team will keep its options open in terms of the pick.

I don't know how reliable that report is. Whether he's receiving interest or not, it's to the Chief's benefit that people think someone is interested unless the Chiefs have no interest in a trade themselves. If Jacksonville thinks someone is interested, they start worrying that maybe it's someone who wants to steal their guy from them so they might start considering a trade to make sure they get their guy. Suddenly, you have one team interested, even if no one was really interested in the first place.

The same thing goes for his comment about Geno Smith continuing to be a possibility.
