no, not a 3D fan. And if i was in the 3D world, I'd likely wait a couple of years to see what shakes out as the viable technology.

I've got this one. It's been fantastic, though I don't really do anything with the 3D stuff. I tried it out, but I've never been a fan of 3D.

Any particular reason why you're stuck on LG? If you're looking for LED, I would go with Samsung. If you're considering plasma, go with Panasonic.

That seems awfully myopic, though I wouldn't be set on LG either. I usually go and look around and find a few that I'm interested in, then research reviews online to see what ones seem to hold up.

I basically went through the exercise when we purchased our TV's over the last couple of years. LG, Sony (unless you go high end), Panasonic, and Sharp were each a notch below Samsung in the LED market. Panasonic is widely regarded as the best in plasma, so if you're going that route, just find the model that fits your budget.
