basically every year they are going to find a QB in the draft to label the next 'must have' QB that the Chiefs can't live without. It doesn't matter whether they guy is any good or not.

I loathed Clausen as a prospect and didn't want anything to do with either Leinhardt or Sanchez. I felt both were products of a system supported by NFL level talent all around them on both sides of the ball.

I did and do think Geno had the tools to be a successful NFL level QB. However, he's in a real shit storm right now because of the stupidity and media focus on Ryan and Sanchez - two guys who just can't seem to keep their idiocy out of the media spotlight. That is creating an absolute feeding frenzy with the media right now.

As soon as they dump Ryan and release Sanchez after the 2013 season when it's fiscally feasible to do, Geno will have a much better chance at success due to the lessening of focus by the media.
