Is that why it was universally known that he wasn't, at the time of his selection, the best at his position but had the best potential? Sounds like the very definition of a project to me. |

Geno didn't drop because he was a project. He was dropped because teams didn't like his attitude. Fair or not, we'll see. I certainly think it's silly to judge either Fisher or Geno's careers based on a few preseason games. Hell, I think Fisher deserves about a half season and Geno deserves about 2 years. |

It was also universally known that Fisher was a #1 overall talent and that Geno wasn't if you want to use the "universally known" card. I wasn't in the camp to pick Fisher anyway, thats not my issue. Everything we have seen so far indicates Geno would have been a huge mistake at 1.1 and people still try to act like thats not the case and its ****ing hilarious. Granted I said "so far" but it doesn't look good. At this point I like Bray's upside more and neither of them may amount to a bag of shit. |

What I am reading is you trying to say I guaranteed Fisher will live up to his potential. That guarantee doesn't exist for any player including Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck is still expected to get better I assume? Even though he was NFL ready right? Now you can evaluate each player and look at who is most likely to develop into their fullest potential and make decisions based on that. Are you arguing that more scouts and GM's had Geno rated as 1.1 talent than Fisher? |

There is no WILL. Fisher was drafted as not the best player at his position. According to the experts his floor is lower than other players drafted after him, but his potential is greater. He COULD be better. But that is going to require work and development. AKA a project, dumbass. |
