No. He was good.

But you essentially have two 1,000 yard WR's. Jerry had 1200 and Tim Brown was just shy at 930.

Rich Gannon was a good player, and 2002 was a great year.

But that team was very talented. I mean, they did go to the Super bowl after all.

When Rice signed with Oakland wasn't the consensus that he was done?

From the looks of this O so far, Avery is going to get lots of looks.
And Bowe is Bowe.
I will take any bet right now that barring injury, Smith has a more productive year statistically than any he ever had with San Fran.

So he could crack 3200 yards passing and 20 TDs?

Now, how confident are you in that.

Lets say we had an injury free bet that says if he throws for less than 3000 yards you win.
If he throws for more than 3400 I win.
No one win in between. Winner gets full Av Sig etc. Control.

You got the balls, Sweet Chuck?

All depends on how healthy J Charles can be and how well the o-line can come together.

Geez how bad is it that the Alex Smith supporters are confident that he will be able to rip off 200 yards per game.

You don't mean Alex Smith supporters, you mean Andy Reid supporters, right?

You don't mean Alex Smith supporters, you mean Andy Reid supporters, right?

Edit: I don't mean this as a stupid appeal to authority....if Andy Reid is wrong about Alex Smith, he'll fail right. Can't we all agree on that?
