If the Chiefs make moves that get Goff and Niswanger off the field that alone would help the line.

Hear, hear (or should I say "here, here" just to give it a ChiefsPlanet spelling?)

JKSJFD:KFJKFJDFKD!!!!! Kyle Turley was the 270-pounds of bad back when he played for Kansas City. He wasn't the 305-pound helmet throwing monster for the Saints when he was in KC.

On June 6, 2005, Turley was released by the Rams and spent the entire 2005 season out of football due to the effects of sciatic nerve damage that also atrophied his right leg. After initially dropping 65 pounds from his 300-pound frame, Turley had gotten back to around the 265 mark in hopes of switching positions, possibly moving to defensive end, and relieving pressure on his back.

On May 5, 2006, Turley began a 3-day tryout with the Miami Dolphins. Hoping to rejoin the NFL as a tight end, reported to minicamp weighing 260 pounds.

Kansas City Chiefs
On June 11, 2006, it was announced that Turley signed a two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Turley has regained his previous weight and has been so impressive in training camp that had been expected to be the opening-day starting right tackle.

Of course, I have NO idea how much he weighed when he was on top of you in bed.

And if it's on Wikipedia, it must be true.... but Turley was a disaster in KC, I'll grant you. However, he NEVER EVER NOT ONCE threw a left handed pick in the end zone.

... in a pre-season game on 4th down.

If that turns out to be the highlight of Chiefs Fans' season -

Well currently, outside of Tamba Hali being able to rush the passer in preseason, it's definitely one of mine. =)

Orange, shut the **** up. I don't care what he was listed at. He was nowhere close to 300 pounds. Consequently, he couldn't drive anyone off the ball and got pushed into the quarterback half the time by bull rushers.

The situation in no way compares to Runyan.

Turley was trying out of teams as a TE when we signed him as a RT. He was playing light with us and they tried getting him to put weight back on which his back just couldn't handle.. Turley doesn't compare to Runyan in anyway.

I'm assuming your joking, but I love how people get mad that we sign players Pioli knows who happen to play for the most talented team in the NFL... I mean do they want us to sign cut players from a less talented team like Detroit or what?
