That's not what I gathered from the actual quote. The way I understood it, they're not planning on pursuing anybody that they're not already started on. Assuming Sean Smith is still in the building, I imagine that he's in play for us.

What makes this interesting is the date is March 13, yesterday, and all the quotes are coming from the Alex Smith presser from which right after is when Reid told reporters we are courting a defensive player in the building. So, kinda of mis-leading.

i think Al Harris likes him because they are A) Friends and B) he has the exact same skill set as Al Harris so Al can pretty much be Sean's personal coach ALL offseason

Exactly thats one thing about Reid. You never know what your gonna get. He ****s with your mind a lot.

Remember in Philly when they traded up and everybody said they were drafting Earl Thomas and than they drafted Brandon Graham.
