If the Chiefs were going to play in throwbacks I would prefer the old larger arrowhead logos on the helmet.

The teams are playing in the uniform style from the year they won the AFL championship. The Chiefs/Texans won in 1962.

Not correct. The article says that they are wearing uniforms from their inaugural seasons in 1960. The Chiefs won three AFL championships, so by your premise they could wear uniforms from 1966 or 1969.

I wouldn't give a shit if it's for only a preseason game-it's monumentality stupid to put the STATE OF TEXAS on one of our unis-throwback or not. There are OTHER choices for an AFL Chiefs throwback uniform.

No, but the 5 state logo was. That's way more acceptable to me. I'm sorry, but playing a Texas team and wearing THEIR STATE on OUR helmet is something not well-thought out, in my book.
