From ESPN:

"Moss is available on the waiver wire until Tuesday afternoon. A team can claim him and pick up the final year of a contract that pays him $6.4 million in base salary. Winless Buffalo has the worst record in the league and the first shot to claim Moss, followed by Carolina and Dallas. If no team claims him, the Vikings owe Moss the remaining $3.888 million on his deal. He'd be available for around $450,000 and Moss could choose the team he would like to join.

Various league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets and even the Patriots are among the teams possibly interested in claiming Moss.

Segal told the Star Tribune that he has already been contacted by the Dolphins and Seahawks about Moss."

The Chiefs should absolutely put in a claim on Randy Moss.

If he plays well, he could win a game or two for the Chiefs. If he has an attitude problem, waive him.

LOL at the Cowboys putting in a claim. Like WR is their problem.

I could see the Bears and Rams absolutely putting in a claim though.

The people saying no to him coming to the Chiefs are hilarious. Like the Patriots suffered any when his attitude "went south". ****ing please.

Having Randy Moss on the field with Jamaal Charles, Bowe and Moeaki is a matchup nightmare.

Some of you moral police officers are gold.

I would love to have a great story along the lines of 'Working for, former wide receiver and current Kansas City Head Coach, Todd Haley revived the career of Randy Moss...played another 6 years...3 Superbowl rings together...', but I don't see it happening.

Moss hasn't been released and some people in the Vikings organization don't want to release him

That's incredible that strength of schedule isn't a tiebreaker in favor of the Chiefs.

Problem is that I don't think he was a team captain, Mr. The Bad Guy.

I'll bet Moss would relish the concept of having Cassel as his quarterback.

He'd be spending every game all by himself 40 yards downfield.

So, when Childress is fired at the end of this season and Favre is gone on to do some attention whoring somewhere else, who takes over coaching?

Do you think Cowher would take a serious look at them?

They have a stout D (when it wants to be), and a stud running back and solid running game. That seems to fit his MO.

What do you think?
