I'm probably an idiot for thinking it, but...

Is there any sense in thinking Trey Smith could move back to LT in the NFL? He was highly recruited as a LT coming out of high school. He was excellent as a LT in his first years at Tennessee. He was moved to G because he missed time with medical concerns. Could he slide back to his old position in the NFL?

No. He doesn't have the lateral agility and foot speed to play the edge in the NFL. Not a chance.

I've seen talk in some circles as a 1st rounder as a guard but I don't think that's a thing for him. If not for the blood clot issue, maybe. Day 2 somewhere, but I'm not so sure he's that great of a fit for a zone scheme. More of a power scheme player to me.

I'd be pretty happy with this.

Even if Rochell is slated to be a 3rd round pick.

I just did Profootballnetwork’s mock draft and their setup is more fun than TDN’s, with the inbound trade options. Plus, it’s kind of cool to get another set of player rankings and write ups.

@Direckshun, after you do 100 TDN mocks, do 100 PFN mocks and let’s see who we have the best odds of getting

Like, look at what I just did in the first four rounds when accepting a trade back in round 1:

41.
Jaelan Phillips
EDGE Miami (FL)

63.
Pat Freiermuth
TE Penn State

88.
Tylan Wallace
WR Oklahoma State

94.
Quinn Meinerz
OC Wisconsin-Whitewater

136.
Shi Smith
WR South Carolina

144.
Chuba Hubbard
RB Oklahoma State

Assuming Mitch and Fish come back, and we add in LDT and Niang, our offense would be so nasty.

Really like Freiermuth. Have a feeling he will go not too long after our 1st pick.

I've been thinking about doing some sort of average of 10 or so boards to see where it comes out. Maybe tomorrow or something. The rankings are so all over the place and some players look way out of line on various boards.
