Does anyone else think that this entire thing could
be a setup and that his parents planted DNA evidence to make it look like it was him? I know its pretty far fetched- but everything sure seems awfully “convenient” doesnt it?

It's definitely possible to plant DNA if one has the material. The pulp inside the teeth contain nuclear DNA. That would probably be used to confirm ID. Fingerprints can still be used postmortem as well.

He was out there, he killed himself, the flood happened and covered up his stuff and him. The water went away and they found him. The parents are liars and knew exactly where he was and they should be charged with crimes. Nobody will ever convince me that they were with their son for over a week and didn't know he killed her. They are full of shit.
