How bout them Hawkeyes!

That Defense is stellar!

Can't wait to be at Kinnick for the Iowa/Michigan game in a couple of weeks.

What to they do with Bulaga when he comes back?

Seriously, I've never seen a team with so much depth at that position.

I wonder what the team would do with Jewel Hampton back there! Too bad the Hawkeyes can't ever seem to get a decent QB. This defense is stellar. Sash is a beast, I pretty much adopted him last year and before this game, he was second in the nation with INT's. Go Hawk's!

Hampton won't be back until next year and then it will be an open competition again. It's a nice problem to have.

And Stanzi is a decent QB, he's having problems keeping his energy level in check. He gets WAY too amped up going into games.

Not sure. Maybe Reiff moves to RT and Richardson goes back to the bench?

What happened to Calloway? He is one of the top ranked Senior OT's in the nation according to the draft rankings, and was playing the RT spot earlier in the season anyway against Iowa State. I thought he looke pretty good in that game, and was someone I thought the Chiefs should look at in the 3rd round or so to fill that spot.

I didn't get to see last nights game either. So was Calloway out too?

No, Calloway played. Reiff is just playing better right now. Calloway also had to sit out the UNI game because he got in trouble, so he might just be a game behind in terms of rhythm.

So no to Calloway as a future Chief? I just saw the one game against Iowa State, and he looked great in the run game, and not bad in the pass block.

Hard to say man, they're just stacked at OL right now, so picking any one guy out is tough.

I just saw Calloway once. And I am by no means an OT guru. But I am just thinking if a college OT is running second string, we probably should pass with a draft pick.

Calloway isn't running 2nd string. He's started every game except for UNI (suspended due to DUI on a MOPED ). He also started every game last year.

The problem is that Bulaga has been hurt/sick all season and his replacement at LEFT tackle is playing as good, if not better, than everybody else on the line. You can't just put him back on the bench now when Bulaga comes back.

I think I am following you, but you said something about Richardson going back to the bench under this scenario.

Richardson is playing guard right now. He was supposed to play tackle but he's kinda soft and he's never realized his 5* potential. I could see them moving one of the right tackles inside and moving Richardson to the bench.
