My kid and wife are the gift I was given in old age. I loved being single, played that card as long as I could but I can't imagine having fully lived without my little man. Best gift ever.

Is having kids not the reason for living? You can't take your belongings with you when you die, all the money in the world won't change that.

You may have fewer toys at the end but you will have people who unconditionally love you for who you are and not what you have. I would not change a thing about my life (except the ex-wife). I have a wonderful wife, a few real friends who would do anything for me as I would for them, 2 great sons and daughter inlaws and 3 awesome grandchildren. For me, that's living!

Eh, I disagree. I have been happily married for 19 years and have 3 kids, as well. Sure, there are times when it is difficult, but I don't ever regret it.

yeah...my kids are awesome. when they are gone (out of the house) I don't know what I'll do, but I'll have my awesome wife to do it with.

That didn't stop me and I am glad it didn't. My kids were a big part of our boating, water skiing and drag racing.
