I credit Blaylock with at least 50% of Dante's success as a returner. Dante talked about it one time and how he just followed Blaylock's lead who was responsible for reading the field and the blocking ... how it was setting up and all.

As for the offense, I wrote an extremely thoughtful and intelligent post at the time about how we would miss those days. What we witnessed back then was a once-in-a-generation offense, really. The line, the run game, our Kidney, the TE. We even had one pretty decent receiver back then. And, of course, Trent Green will go down in history as the greatest blocking quarterback of all times.

We were virtually unstoppable inside the 30. The stretch play those guys ran was a thing of awesome beauty.

On the one against the Broncos though, there were at least a couple blatant blocks in the back that weren't called.

Still some amazing jukes during that run.

If it wasnt called it didnt happen. If you are a human highlight film and you can get the refs to watch you instead of the other players you get away with it as a team. X was just that.

Stiff arms are kind of unfair in my opinion, because if a defensive player can't hit an offensive player in the face, why is the reverse true? A stiff arm is taking advantage of a rules imbalance.

A juke, on the other hand, is a work of art. It's a statement that you're on the field and I'm on the field, and I'm going to get by you without being touched. That's a beautiful thing.

yeah, I'm sure there are a ton of good ones. Those two I mentioend were just the ones that stuck out the most to me; probably because they're the most recent I remember.

That Lynch run was so great due to the circumstances in that game. Come to think of it, wasn't Hearsts run the final play of regulation; or in OT (can't remember).
