Petro calls his shot, Romeo "will be" next HC...

He doesn't have any inside info, he's just making his observations...

Romeo will be the HC. Josh McDaniels will be the OC. And here's the best part:

Kyle Orton will be the starter in Miami or Seattle next season. Guess what that infers?

Romeo had problems in Cleveland in part because of the QB position. He had Derek Anderson put up big numbers 1 year and then become the Derek Anderson everybody knows. That gave rise to a QB controversy and all sorts of injury problems.

I'm not too sure Romeo is the foot shuffling Pioli porter people seem to think he is. He came out immediately after the GB game and endorsed Orton saying that if they won the last 3 then Orton would have to be seriously considered to be in the picture next year. That's kind of a bold statement for an interim HC to make after 1 game.

Then, Hali (who isn't the most press friendly guy) comes out and says that KC has to solidify the QB position. He doesn't say "things will be better with Matt next year", he says they need to 'solidify' it which is open to interpretation, but to me it insinuates a need to bring in somebody other than Matt.

Maybe the old DC and defense has seen enough of Cassel.

This.

We need BOwe or Breaston to come out and endorse this. Someone on the offensive side.

If Cassel is our QB, it means I will have 17 productive Sundays next season. Not bad.

Has McDaniels been pinkslipped yet?
Any (slim) chance he gets that Head Coaching gig in St. Louis?

Bradford wants to keep MCd in STL.

Someone contact Tebow to pray for this.

We need to take up a collection and put up a billboard near Arrowhead informing Scott to remove Cassel
from the team.

Why are people acting as if Petro made this announcement via some grand prolcamation just because a poster made a thread about it?

Why hasn't Romeo been announced yet?

The Chiefs are clearly doing their due diligence on other candidates.

Yes Romeo seems to be his own man .Not a puppet to Pioli like Haley.I think Romeo if hes HC will do his own thing regardless what dictator Pioli say, which is good for kc!
