I am baaaack and now pesismisstically .....

... predicting a Chiefs loss. Too balanced Carolina's top defense will hold the Chiefs to less than 22 and our defense will not be able to stop the Panther offense.

0-2 Sing it

@ man-ette.

The Chiefs murder NFC teams at home. Nuff said.

Perhaps the coldest line of the season.

Can you believe he didn't get an emmy nom?

WTF is this world coming to?

I guess he went over the "c@cksucker" limit to garner any emmy support.

Great fuggin' show! Other new favorites-

The Shield
Nip/Tuck
Rescue Me

Gonna watch the season premiere of 'The Wire' tomorrow night?

HBO Original. Missed the first season [and it's still not out on DVD], enjoyed the 2nd [though I didn't see it as the 'best of the best' as some have said in comparison to Sopranos, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Dead Like Me, etc.]. Gonna give the 3rd a chance, though.

I agree with Zach.

The Chiefs have given up an average of 15.5 ppg at Arrowhead over the last 13 regular season games (all Chiefs wins). During this time the highest score the Chiefs gave up was 24 (against the Raiders last year).

During this span the Chiefs held opponents to 14 points or less (one 14 point game, two 10 point games, one 5 point game, one 3 point game, and one shut out) nearly half the time.

Less than a third of the time the Chiefs allowed more than 20 points (two 20 point games, one 23 point game and one 24 point game).

Even though Vermeil is only 1-2 in home openers I just don't think the Panthers have the horsepower to outscore the Chiefs in Arrowhead. I think we thump 'em.

James Spader?
James Gandolfini?
Keifer Sutherland?
Martin Sheen?
Anthony LaPaglia?

I'm sorry, JimmyG is the best of the bunch, and the rest are a "who are the Hollywood big-screen stars slumming on TV?" spankfest.

Half the cast of Deadwood deserves the nom above these mopes. Well, LaPaglia wasn't bad, but he didn't stand out either.

I apologize for Vlad the pizzussy. He has a blind spot right where the words 'regular season' would normally appear.

Edit - f@ck f@ck f@ck. Too slow again.

No, I felt he was being disingenous by ignoring the playoffgame where we were crushed at home. A game that definitely counts. You want to play the regular season card to avoid preseason (that do not count) that makes sense. To avoid the playoffs where games definitely count is being chickenshit.

Poor old Vlad just doesn't want to see the bright side. So he doesn't. On a brighter note, I worked for a guy today whose cat is named Priest. Yep, a Chiefs fan.
