At this pace, we may have a new formation... the Wildasses. Throw out Orton and Tebow, run a multiple laterals and other trickery to move the chains.

All these injuries are going to definitely put the spotlight on McDaniels. Not because he caused them but now he's going to have to get this team together and compete without a bunch of star players.

No doubt... but, let's not act like Denver's group of WRs is that much worse off from an experience or production point of view compared to KC or Oakland. I think Oak and Den have more upside than KC actually.

How do you figure that? The leading receiver is Stokley...and he has 4k career yards. 4000 yards in 10 years. Their best young receiver is Royal who had less than 400 yards last year. The other starter is a career backup who had 3k career yards. Thomas has to learn how to run routes again this off season.

Sorry, the Broncos WR corp is nowhere near as good as the Chiefs. I'll take Bowe, Chambers, and McCluster over any combination of Broncos WR any day of the week and 8 times on sunday.

Hang on... "Their best young receiver is Royal who had less than 400 yards last year."

And, Bowe had 589 yards... after his 2008 campaign of just over 1,000. I know, he only started 11 games...

Chambers is older and he's really about a 700 yd guy on average the last few years. McCluster is a 5 foot 8 inch rookie 'tweener'.

So, yeah... Denver is not the only team in the division with issues at WR my friend.

Bowe > Royal
Chambers > Gaffney
McCluster = Thomas

I'll take our starters over yours.

Upside is a sort of useless term. Thomas can't run routes and Heyward-Bey can't, you know, catch a football. Bowe > them, by many, many leaps and bounds. You use interesting words like experience and production. In fact, from those points of view, KC is pretty far ahead. You'd have been better off by saying "from a natural/athletic talent point of view."

I will say this... I don't care how smart Josh thinks he is, but if he can't figure out how to make Royal a more integral part of this offense... he needs to resign. There was just so much left on the table last year, in my opinion, when you look at how poorly guys like Royal and Hillis were used.

I'll never understand why Hillis was traded away, he'd had a pretty decent season a couple of years ago and probably would've worked well as a combo with Moreno.

I still have huge issues with it... you're telling me that this creative mind for offense that enjoyed the likes of Kevin Faulk in the past couldn't come up with plays for Hillis?

I love how arrogant Chiefs fans get after the Broncos lose a few starters. This season will be no different for Chiefs fans and I will be lurking the Chiefs game threads laughing my ass off just like I did the past 2 years.

I don't know how arrogant we are pointing out the obvious but I am one that believes in Karma......so I don't wish injuries on any NFL player.

But be clear....the basic underlying thinking on this website is the Chief's suck and will do so until proven differently.
