Playing against Syracuse may be bad for Duke. They just had a grinder of a game against a zone the whole way. Let’s see if they can flip the switch against a completely different team on a two day turn around.

Hardly. I never predicted KU would lose a single game they played and never thought they would lose either. I simply referenced the probabilities.

UMBC also served to prove my point that a #16 seed could easily knock off a #1 and the fact that it hadn't happened yet was no proof that it wouldn't.

As far as Duke, we're undoubtedly the underdog and have a lower chance of winning this game than any game we've played in two years. Underdogs do frequently win in this tourney, though (crapshoot that it is), and we'll have to hope this is one of those occasions.

Two big men. Wendell Carter is the more traditional big and will probably match up against Azubuike. Bagley will get one of either Svi/Vick for most of the game, so you see our dilemma.

Our strategy should be to let Allen and Duval shoot, and keep the ball away from Bagley and Trent Jr. If Carter beats you he beats you. Better not let it be Bagley because I cannot fathom who can guard him on KU. Going zone sounds good, but keep in mind Duke just played the best zone in the country. And they run zone themselves. So its not like they are out of practice against a zone.

I haven't been impressed by Duke all year. They can go **** themselves for all I care.

I like KU's chances against a power program like Duke more than I do against a scrappy underdog that always seems to bite KU in the ass in March.

It almost happened again last night. KU was bricking FT's all throughout the 2nd half until a couple were made to pretty much ice it at the very end. Last night was looking like an another Bill Self epic KU collapse in the making.

They were lucky to escape from that.

KU plays up to their tougher competition. And **** Duke.
