Im starting to think it's still going to be muddled after the combine. After F/A is when we'll know.

If they don't pick up Alex Smith......then we're drafting a QB.

There is no way in hell the Chiefs go into next season with Matt Cassel as their starter.

I just don't see who they are going to take then. Joeckel is about the only one that makes sense.

In no way would I take a guard at 1, and I sure as hell ain't taking a 34 DE with no pass rush skills.

Geno is an exponentially better prospect than Sanchez, if for no other reason than he was a 3 year starter with outstanding performance that improved annually. He also (supposedly) has all the intangibles to go with his physical attributes, which Sanchez did and does not. I've heard people talk about how he "won't be ready for a while", and while I don't think you can ever assume that any QB will be game-ready immediately as a rookie, I just don't see how he's any less ready than anyone else has been the last few years. They've all had offenses tailored to their strengths, and I don't see why it would need be any different with him. So I'm not sure why he's talked about like it's a foregone conclusion that he's a project. He shouldn't be, no more than anyone else, and less than some (namely Sanchez).

Sanchez never should've been even a first round prospect though. That was all media hype machine. And there weren't many of us who didn't fall for it.
