I don't know that teams will be able to press him, he's pretty shifty and quick short line.
And as far as NFL size etc, he made OU defenders look pretty stupid. That was a pretty good defense too. It's not the NFL obviously. |

180 pounds 5'9".
Picture a guy like Clay Matthews hitting him across the middle.

you can pretty much jam anyone at the LOS in the NFL except like a handful of these huge fast freaks (Bowe, Megatron, Gronk, VJax etc)
it's just a different level of talent. Let's put it this way if a 6'5'' guy in Jon Baldwin cant beat the press, then you know there is at least, a huge learning curve. Because Baldwin has the size and body to ****ing throw people right off at the LOS and he gets his shit rocked by 5'10 strong fast CBs |

The concern about him going over the middle is certainly legitimate. |

Like I said, for Austin to be that small and survive, he needs to be Deshan Jackson type speed and agility. I don't really see that.

I don't know. He got like 90-95% of his yards after the catch. Don't think he'll have much of an impact in the league unless it's on special teams.

I also hope with a new Qb who can throw the ball more than 5 yards down the field accurately, teams won't be able to put 8 in the box and press the shit out of our WR's, knowing Cassel couldn't beat them.

but we NEED a D Jax type player for Reids offense. We need a stretch the field speed threat
thats what this team lacks, a guy that can run a combo of routes and get behind safeties. Essentially Percy Harvin without the baggage. Is there someone not named Harvin out there similar? is that Patterson? |

Markus Wheaton is the guy I want in round 2. He's so quick and reliable.
DeAndre Hopkins is good too. But my God. Quinton Patton is gonna be good. The guy had 21 catches, 233 yards and 4 TD's on Texas A&M. If he runs a 4.4 or better, watch out.

Hopkins is actually the guy I'd prefer.
