Well, my bad... is this new? I haven't been on as much in recent weeks (traveling)... sorry for any issues this might have created, but it's in the final rounds, shouldn't be too major of a deal.

It just started in this round in the vet draft, with the switch to the 4 hour clock. The rookie draft started out with the rule I think

Lost and Found

While I was out of town, someone made a trade involving 2010 picks and I wasn't able to record it. Now I can't find it. If you were involved in a trade involving 2010 picks in the past 5 days, please quote it up to the top for me. I can't remember who was involved.

******TRADE ALERT******

rokio42
I kinda have a man crush on Jason Brown...what do you want for him??

cdcox
He is a young proven player on the rise, so he is one of the few guys on my (inherited) roster that I like. I'll be taking a risk in the draft and could come up with a bust so I have to have some up side. Your 1st round rookie pick and your 22 round regular pick? That's probably too much, but think about it before you say no.

rokio42
What if we did my 2nd round rookie pick and my 23rd round pick in the rookie

Three weeks later....

rockio42
You still interested in trading Jason Brown? I would be VERY willing to negotiate...

cdcox
Well, I would need Jusin Hartwig as a replacement for starters. But Brown is a much better center, and younger to boot. I would need to get a younger and better at another position to compensate. What would it take to get Jennings in a bigger package deal? Or make another counter offer not involving Jennings.

rockio42
I do not currently have you completely updated roster, could you send me it to make this easier...do you need mine?

roster sent

rockio42
I would be interested in involving Pat Sims if you would be okay with that, I'm looking for more of a pure NT to help with my depth

cdcox
Forget Jennings, that is probably too big of a gap to cross. Lets start with you getting Jason Brown and me getting Hartwig. Make a proposal that is going to add comparable value to my starting line up, considering that the trade of centers will weaken that position considerably for me (I'm getting an older, weaker player).

rockio42
You asked me about pass-rushers, I would be able to part with Chris Clemons to help bridge the gap as well as maybe trading Dockett or Okoye to help with me getting sims...just think it over

cdcox
Not really interested in Dockett or Okoye since I run a 3-4 and neither of them can play NT. Clemons is not really on my radar either. However, now that I drafted Knightly, I might be able to relinquish Sims.

How close would we be if I gave you Sims and Brown for Hartwig and Jennings? Or for Hartwig and your first round pick in next year's draft?

rockio42
Would you be saying Hartwig and my 1st for just Brown or what?

cdcox
No, Hartwig and your 1st for Brown and Sims.

rockio42
What if we changed it to Hartwig and my 2nd and 4th for next year for just Brown?

cdcox
I think we are getting close. Hartwig and your 2nd and 3rd round picks in next year's draft for Brown and my 5th in next year's draft. The values are essentially equal to the deal you just proposed. We could even move it up the my 5th in this year's draft.

rocki42
I'd love the deal of Hartwig and my 2nd and 3rd next year and what if we did Brown and 4th in next years draft (instead of a 5th in this years)

cdcox
That deal is 100 draft points different (in your favor) than the previous two that were on the table. Let's back up to the offer you made before this one:

Hartwig and your 2nd round and 4th round pick in the 2010 rookie draft for Jason Brown. Deal?

rockio42
What if you threw in you 6th (next year, or 7th if that makes the deal closer)? Just for a little added compensation....

cdcox
Eh, I'm tired of haggling over 100 draft points. I'll take the deal that you'd love:

I get Hartwig, your 2nd and 3rd round next year.

You get Jason Brown and my 4th next year.

Deal?

rockio42:
Deal! Do you want to announce it or should I?
