I'm laying on the couch wishing this flu would go away or kill me.

Worst thing is the DVR/DirecTV tuner died and we have no TV.

So it's up to you guys to entertain me.

I'm parenting while the bride is off getting a haircut with her friends or something.

The kids just got up from their short nap...I need one. I've spent more time wiping a snotty nose today than advertised in the wedding manual. The youngest has a fever again, so she's in the mood to lay around on my chest and snot on my shirt most of the day.

Watched 10,000 BC during naptime. Kindofaturd.
Blackhawk down was pissing me off, too violent anyway....so now, I'm tollerating Cinderella, again.

Its nice outside and I can't go. I could be haying cows or shooting a new tommy gun today, but I guess this is my destiny.

I didn't have any red beans but I found a bag of black beans so I'm putting them on with some smoked neck bones. Next I'm gonna open a Labatt's and fire up the grill for some bbq chicken.

The wife and daughter just left for a BD party, I'm going to have a rare 2 hours of solitude. Love my family but I'm ready to kick back on the couch, find a stupid movie and let my brain atrophy for a while.

Beer, bbq, beans and some dumbass, mindless movie. Life is good.

Oh, here it is....Major League. That's perfect. I can be entertained without having to watch since I've seen it 50 times before. If I fall asleep it won't matter.

The afternoon that you have laid out sounds pretty nice, except I don't have much of an appetite, no fun food to cook, and no energy to cook it if I did. Already watched Pulp Fiction today. Maybe I'll throw in another movie later.

I'm watching the 1st half of the 97 playoff game against Dungver. There are a lot of references made to the Teflon Jersey incident all these years later but just seeing it fresh again; I can't BELIEVE those guys didn't get yanked from the game!

They should have been.

Sheesh, why don't you just take a cheese grater to your forehead and then pour lemon juice into the wounds.
