If ever there was a time when Goodell could step in and pull a Stern ( not allow a player trade). I wish the Commish could have made the Cards hire Horton as HC just to piss this ownership off for what they did to him.

I love how Arians is like, "It's a perfect fit for me." I'm not knocking Arians, I really hope he does well there, but this is all that was left. All these coaching openings, Bears, Eagles, etc were talking about bringing in Arians and then they all went in opposite directions even after he got out of the hospital and to his interviews. If I were a Cards fan I would think that the Cards settled because they couldn't get the coach they should've.

Teams are going more "offense" - especially with the rules the way they currently are. There are hardly any minority OC's out there (I can only think of Caldwell with Baltimore), which I bet is one of the main reasons for the lack of hires this year. I would not be surprised if they expand on the Rooney Rule and extend it to coordinators as well.
