I don't think they are a bunch of turds. I think they need good quarterback play to help them mature as receivers hard to do when the quarterback doesn't make all his progressions and runs out of bounds. I think this year will be different. I think Alex Smith will be forced to play more aggressive and attempt plays he wouldn't normally giving our guys more opportunity to succeed. Hell Patrick Mahomes II got Kemp to catch a touchdown so they need better balls thrown their way if you ask me.

Give them a chance that's what they are here for. With Tyreek running down field that will leave underneath routes open and Alex Smith is good at the intermediate to short routes but we have a threat down field if he takes advantage of that now and then.

So I think this group of WR just needs a chance to shine they are still young.

Seven?

Whoa, if they go with 7 WR's then they're definitely only keeping 3 TE's (which I think is the right number) but what about RB?

Couldn't Jones and Deiter both make it to the Practice Squad?

Hill, Conley, DAT, Chesson, Robinson, Wilson is what I think it will be.

4 total rbs including Sherman . I don't think they keep west and spiller. I was big in spiller but if west is healthy I'd probably go that way.

While the possibilities of Spiller excite me, I think you are right.

I just don't think he'll have the burst he did at one time early in his career.

Deiter to the PS seems likely but I'm not sure if they can slip Jones through waivers.

He's starting to "pop" on film and his size is a huge asset.

Robinson still hasn't shown me anything as a receiver so if it came down to him or Jones, I'd go with Jones.

FWIW, Robinson would be eligible for the PS.

Robinson

I think you could trade out Jones for Robinson (ST guy) or Kemp (he's flashing a lot I feel)

Jones being on the list is probably just wishful thinking.

I don't see how Wilson makes the cut again- too many younger cheaper and better options this year.

I think spiller is more dynamic and better than west but his age plus history makes me skeptical if West is healthy. If West gets dinged I'd probably change my opinion but spiller over a healthy west is tough.

West hasn't exactly been a pillar of health but at least he's you g

I've long wanted wilson cut, but the dude has been boss in preseason throwing blocks out there, he's gonna make the team for sure i think

if it's me, i trade or cut dat, but they just love the dude, so we'll see.

jones and kemp i'd love to see stick, or we'll be at risk to lose em. I had a thought it we flexed to keep 7 WRs and let go of the extra TE, use Jones as that 3rd TE on routes in the 3 TE set.

chesson not sure he's shown enough, but trading up in the 4th (4th & 5th essentially) i'm pretty sure they'll keep him active.

Keep Hill, Conley, Wilson, Robinson, Chesson, Jones, Kemp

cut DAT
PS for Deiter

Keep only 2 TEs, Kelce & Harris, cut Escobar and try to squeeze Travis on the PS

should add i kept only 2 TEs to hold onto the 4 RB (plus sherman). if we can get some value for west, do it and keep travis.
