The best offense ever assembled?

If Tyreek is able to play for KC this year and Hardman is who the coaches are indicating he might be (Mix of Chad Johnson and Desean Jackson) then, this offense is going to be better than last year and quite simply, in conversation for the best offense ever assembled.

MVPat
Sherman
Williams/Thompson
Hill 2x first team all pro
Watkins
Hardman
Kelce best tight end in the league
Good offensive line.

Who’s better?

99 rams?
Warner
Faulk
Bruce
Holt
Proehl
Roland Williams
Good OL

07 Pats?
Brady
Maroney
Moss
Welker
Stallworth
Ben Watson
Good OL

98 Vikings?
Cunningham
Smith
Miss
Carter
Reed
Glover
Good OL

2013 Broncos?
Manning
Moreno
Decker
Welker
Thomas
Thomas
Ok ol

1998 Broncos?
Elway
TD
Mccaffery
Smith
Sharpe
Griffith

Change my mind, but I’m going into this season thinking this could be the absolute best offense ever fielded in the NFL.

No. It was comparable to the Colts for best offenses of the year, but not history.

The Chiefs 2018 offense was already one of the best of all time. Possibly top 5, definitely top 8.

We're likely to regress a bit this coming season.

Hard to say that w all the rule changes favoring the offense. Speaking objectively you really cant compare to other offenses cause they dealt w different rules...

But yeah our offense could put up crazy numbers

2018 offense was already an alltime great. Like the 1998 Vikes

Different era? Sure, but this was the first team to score 26 points minimum in all their games. Average score for us was 35-26. Just phenomenal

Can’t wait to see year 2.

Yeah. It's the '99 Rams by a comfortable margin.

Recency bias is a thing.

Plus Mahomes haters actually love saying KC is the most talented offense ever because, in their minds, that marginalizes the amazing debut season of Mahomes.

I'll give them the edge at RB, LT, and WR2.

KC has the edge with WR1, TE, and QB.

The largest gap is in KC's TE and obviously Faulk.

Plus the Rams had a cupcake schedule in 99 that really padded their numbers.

I always look at the teams Manning failed to win a championship with in the early 2000's. James, Glenn, Harrison, Wayne, Stokley in the slot, Dallas Clark and Pollard at TE to go with Peyton Manning.

That offense was basically all stars at every position. I recall them scoring like 3 points in a playoff loss. Hence the beginning of "Manning is a choker' meme. Manning putting up like 3 and 10 points or whatever he did in his losses to the Patriots have shaded people against how freakishly talented that offense was.

One of the best O lines in history for sure and top 5 running games ever.

To put our 2018 offense and QB in context though- Mahomes passed up all of Trent's records by a huge margin. Mahomes broke a 50 year TD's thrown for the season record- by Lenny, barely halfway through the season.

In one season, Mahomes has passed most of the ghost of shitty QB's past and is not only rewriting the Chief's record book, but also the NFL's. He probably broke 20 records last year. Amazing! If Mahomes plays as long as Brees, he will own every passing record.

I believe it. There's a lot to take into account.

I think most people wouldn't be upset if you claimed the '18 offense was top 5 all-time, but pretty much everyone would have to agree it'd at least be top 8.
