DT Mike Daniels released by Green Bay

Per Schefty.... https://twitter.com/adamschefter/sta...430565378?s=21

Interesting late cut. Really good run defender.

I don’t think he’s a fit here considering you already have a deep DL. Cleveland is the team to watch.

It seems more and more likely that we are going to trade Chris Jones. Wow

How did I forget Speaks? I felt I was missing someone when I posted that and double checked the Chiefs roster sorted by position and Speaks isn’t there.

Still listed as a LBer.

I wouldn’t go that far.

This team wants every chance to win a Super Bowl it can get.

It’s a long season and a vet like Daniels (that’s fundamentally sound and aggressive) can help a lot to keep the rotation sound. This DL is very talented, but also extremely young and needing development. Adding a guy like Daniels could help that while providing help to Nnadi and Saunders that both profile similarly to Daniels.

I'm just so soft about Speaks moving to the interior. We drafted a guy who played 4-3 end in college but started as a DT, we moved him to outside LB, and now he's going to go BACK to DT?

Is he some kind of Wallace Gilberry piece of shit or something?

And who the **** knows (or cares) about KPass. Trade him to the Browns. Tell Dorsey he accidentally left some of his shit behind when he left.

Yea they want him so bad that they couldn’t get a trade done when there was one to be made and don’t even have a meeting set up?

It’s not happening.

I’m hoping this is just them going all in.

Clark replaces Ford’s pass rush ability. Jones is still here. My only worry was who would replace Houston’s, who was still a double-digit caliber rusher who was really good in our playoff win.

Clark, Daniels, Jones and Okafor starting with Ogbah, Speaks, Saunders and Nnandi as depth would be really ****ing good

I mean they could just think they can get a better deal than what he already had, but if they were that interested they’d be setting up a meeting.
