On top of everything else, Mahomes' image is so squeaky clean that people talk shit about his wife and brother. It's all they have at this point.

Look, it's a good segment. I'm typically not a Cowherd fan. He's been open about being entertaining as opposed to being right, so he might just be doing this for headlines, but this sounds sincere.

Hard for me to bang on a guy that puts out a good segment.

And I've said it since his first year starting. He's the best there has ever been.

Cowherd is a very good entertainer. When he says nice things about your team, it's a great feeling. Just be prepared for him to say the exact opposite thing as little as a week later.

About the only thing he's been consistent on in the past couple of years has been his hatred of Aaron Rodgers. Man... he does NOT like that guy.

Think we’re seeing the end, finally, to trying to compare mahomes to other players. Media did it to juice ratings. In burrow you’ve got some juice. Just like Brady vs manning.

When mahomes wins the Super Bowl, he’s untouchable. Two super bowls in 5 years and it’ll be very hard for any young qb to catch him while mahomes may keep pulling further ahead.

The next step is for the media to start trolling patriots fans by talking GOAT. The way they did for lebron to Mj much of his career. When you have no peers the next step is to compare him to the best of all time.

Yup. The media just wants clicks and headlines. At some point this is going to be a lot more interesting than trying to prop up some new golden boy. Especially with a Super Bowl he’s pulled so far in the race. This postseason has turned it into a blowout.

If the Eagles win, Hurts would have a ring at a very young age. I hope KC can get healthier for the game. Right now it looks like Philly has a big advantage with a much healthier roster. Need the next 2 weeks to be very positive healing & treatment for the KC players.

Like Cowherd said, if Bill Russell isn't considered the GOAT, there's no reason to hand that title to Brady. Russell probably had just as much or more of an impact on his titles.

Frankly, I don't care about the GOAT discussions. Especially this early in Mahomes' career. But I will say that if Mahomes has three SBs by his 13th year in the league (which would equal Brady's total to that point), there would be absolutely no reason that you couldn't make the case. Especially since he's much more dynamic and multi-skilled than Brady, and has rarely been supported by an above average defense or running game.
