I don't care either way. I was 100% on board with changing the Redskins name but I don't really see Chiefs as nearly the same thing that being said I wouldn't be upset if the name had more to do with Kansas and Missouri.

Like the Jayhawks referes directly to the history of Kansas which is cool and good.

But I don't think there's actually much public support for changing the name beyond rage bait articles

We really haven’t done a good enough job of eliminating all Native American imagery from our culture. It’s ridiculous we still keep these things around. Time to get progressive and remove all the references to Native Americans from our names, imagery, streets, cities, etc. Need to finish what we started.
