Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Found another .45 for the collection today after work.
Sig P220 Stainless Elite. Decided to slap $300 on it and try the layaway plan since there is also a Kimber 1911 two-tone I want to get there too. Tired of all the guns I really like getting sold out from under me when I go back a week or two later to buy them. edit: the actual model I am getting has the slightly longer barrel like in this image. |

The Fort Knox safe gets delivered tomorrow and I have some extra space for long guns and pistols, any ideas? I'm thinking about adding a .17 to the collection to smoke gophers, but I need a few ideas to fill this bitch up. The model showing up holds 32 long guns, I own 26.

Not that I'm discouraging the buying of more long guns by the way. |

Yeah, this one should. I don't think Fort Knox goes by the "new math." Hey, if that's not the case, I go by the, you can alway fit a few more in there rule.

The back of the door has numerous (I'll give you an exact count when it shows) places for pistols, with built in holsters. The only gun that won't be in the safe is one of my assuat shotguns, which sits loaded with 8 rounds of #1 buck next to the bed.

On a side note it's going to cost me $180 to have the "beast" delivered and put in the place of my choice. There was no way in hell I was going to try to wrangle that heavy bastard into the house and navigate it through rooms, stairs and hallways to save a buck eighty. I only have one back and I want to try to retain movement in that bad boy for a few more years. A buck eighty is a hell of a deal in my book.
