Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Here is what I bought (5 boxes) http://www.murphystactical.com/federal-ammunition-xm193f-5-56mm-55-gr-fmj-20-rds.html When I went to check out, the lady rang up ONE box, not FIVE along with my other items. I was in a hurry and didn't notice at the time, I just signed the visa statement and hurried out of the door to make my lunch appointment. When I go home, I took a look at the register receipt to get some information for the warranty card of another item and noticed that the cashier had screwed up and only charged me for ONE box, not FIVE. I called the store and talked to the manager and told him I would drop in tomorrow to pay for the other four boxes tomorrow and he told me, "don't worry about it, you've been a great customer." I spent over 10k with those guys last year. I was surprised that he said that, but I wasn't going to argue about his "early Christmas gift." You can also bet your bottom dollar I will continue to buy my guns at their store. Hope that helps?

I just saw a New In Box Taurus PT1911 for $400. no reserve. Which is a steal ever after shipping and FFL transfer.

The store owner was probably thankful they didn't have to raise their hands in the air when they seen you come in. You're a saint Bwana, a real good person. |

The local atwoods has a lot of ammo here. Picked up 200 rnds of 45 at $25/50. Local police are allowed four boxes while civilians are allowed two.

Everyone stop stocking up on ammo so the store shelves can be replenished.

I was just teasing dude. I have noticed various ammo at stores lately. Dick's has some PMP .223 and 38 in stock. Walmart had that junk .223 TulAmmo on their shelves, I wouldn't touch it though. |

My next purchase is going to be for HOME protection and I think this will do just fine. No out of stock ammo for it either
